<aside> 💡 |Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ is a service provided to shippers (forwarders), shipping companies, and dangerous goods inspectors through the 'import/export public/private data sharing platform' built by the Tongyang Systems consortium under the supervision of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2021. Based on this, it is a platform service that shares real-time between dangrous goods shipment related parties with shipment and inspection approval.

1. |Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ Service Introduction

|Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ uses blockchain technology that is impossible for forgery and falsification, can verify the issuer, and ensures accessibility, traceability, and real-time sharing of maritime transport dangerous goods information in a standardized data format between approved business-related parties, By reviewing the shipping of dangerous goods and recording the inspection progress and results of the dangerous goods inspector, it eliminates the input/processing/transmission/storage of duplicate information and supports the safe shipping of dangerous goods by sea.

|Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ enables shippers (forwarders) can check the necessary information through self-inspection (simulation) of dangerous goods based on basic dangerous goods information before booking by the liner company. In addition, line companies and dangerous goods inspectors can perform standardized validation of dangerous goods information based on dangerous goods knowledge content. And the dangerous goods inspector checks the inspection items necessary for the inspection of dangerous goods and records the results in photos and checklists like the dangerous goods container receipt inspection certificate.

The approval result is verified under the proof of the issuing entity through the blockchain hash algorithm of loading approval and inspection approval information of dangerous goods inspectors.

Based on the maritime logistics dangerous cargo information exchanged through the |Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ service, monitoring the import and export information of dangerous goods and utilizing the results of the undeclared dangerous goods identification algorithm construction for dangerous goods container inspection (CIP) will be availble.

  1. IMDG Screening Based on general cargo and dangerous cargo data, we build an undeclared dangerous cargo identification algorithm through machine learning to predict the possibility of undeclared dangerous cargo for declared general cargo in the future.
  2. IMDG Self-Simulation Based on the basic information of the dangerous cargo to be transported, |Collaborative|IMDGonBlockchain|™ checks the carrier policy, port regulations, segregation rules, mandatory information, and packing instruction.
  3. IMDG Validation Standardized verification of the provided dangerous cargo information by applying the carrier policy, ship certificate, port regulations, terminal regulations, segregation rules, mandatory information, and packing instruction information included in the knowledge content.
  4. IMDG Inspection Inspect the inspection items required for the inspection of dangerous goods container by using the checklist for each item of 'classification, packaging, marking and labeling, transport documents, segregation, storage and securing', and record the inspection results including photos.
  5. IMDG Monitoring Collects and monitors integrated IMDG information, monitors the loading port of import cargo and export cargo unloading information by dangerous cargo class, and checks the input-shipment approval-inspection approval status of dangerous cargo information on the blockchain.
